Help Is This Normal

Hey guys , I was wondering this as my desire s has been doing it since I can remember. Basically , when you hold down the power button , does your desire s turn on without letting go. Basically , on mine I have to hold down for a few seconds then let go , then it turns on (with a little vib).

Mine boots up the second you press the button in, do not have to let it go or wait.

Perhaps restore your phone and start again.

That's as it should be. You need to 'press - hold - release' to power on the phone, as opposed to the quick press action to turn the screen on/off. The phone will turn on (power on) as soon as you release the button. You shouldn't need to hold it for seconds, just one, or less, should do before you let go.
