Well, I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 after much deliberation. I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4. This is my first Android device and I am really looking forward to it (should be here next week).

Any suggestions or advice for an Android newb?

    Thanks!

I would say an important piece of advice is to remember that Androids are very customisable. So if you don't like the homescreen, the lock screen, the keyboard, or whatever, you can change them. So you can personalise your Android device much more than an iOS.
