Keep facebook events but remove birthdays

Hi, I like to see facebook events in S planner but not birthdays as there are hundreds and they just clog up my calendar!

Is there a way to just show events but not the birthdays?

I used to be able to do this but since updating some software my calendar now shows EVERYTHING from facebook rather than just the events.

I'm new to this forum and not very techy so appreciate any help anyone can give me!
