hello all, i was wondering if there is a way to prevent landscape mode when on the home screens. love launcherpro, but it would be perfect if this could be disabled. thanks

LauncherPro Preferences -> Behavior Settings -> Auto-Rotation checkbox

Just courious as to why you wouldn't want landscape mode? The X is perfect for web browsing in landscape mode

he means for the homescreens (with the icons).

And sometimes you don't want auto-rotate (even for web browsing) such as when you are in bed, and it keeps rotating when you don't want it to.

Oh see I thought you had to have that on to get apps to rotate also. Cool...that's why I ask these things. Sometimes I learn something

I just tried it out and it will still rotates when docked which I like and how I think it should be. nice

    thanks

i agree, for browsing. when on the home screen, however, i do not want it to rotate. one less thing to wait for when i am trying to open an app or just check the time.

I'm with you I didn't know I could have it both ways. (have the HS not rotate and still have apps rotate) I now have it set to not rotate on the home screen also.
