It's been rumored that HTC is going to be manufacturing both of the upcoming Nexus smartphones for 2016, and a recent rumor claims to have the details of the smaller device.
If true, the device will have a 5" 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 12MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, rear fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, bottom speaker, top headphone jack, and a 2,770mAh capacity battery. The rumor also mentions a 2.0GHz quad-core SoC, but doesn't say what make/model.
