Help Limited Connectivity when using the phone as a WiFi hotspot

Im so beyond frustrated. I have t-mobile as my provider and purchased the wifi hot spot service. Well I set up my phone. Connect my laptop. My laptop easily finds my phone, my phone finds my laptop. Says connected with limited connectivity. Internet will not work. Tmobile was of little help and told me they had to give my case to one of their "network Engineers"

Please pleae please someone help me! I can provide whatever information you need I just have no way to fix this myself.

You do not need top purchase any extra service from T-Mobile to use your phone as a hotspot. The feature is already built into the phone.

It actually sounds like a computer problem. Connect to your phone and then press trouble shoot network errors on your pc. Of that doesn't work, stay connected and restart your computer. I switch around WiFi a lot, every now and then this happens.

i noticed that when the screen on the phone turns off ill loose internet connection id disable the turn off screen and have the screen on the whole time i need internet
