Root Losing Network Signal

Hi,

I have just changed my contract to a different network provider (O2-UK) and find I am having intermittent issues with my phone signal, but only at home.

Where I live must be on the border of a 3G/HSDPA signal, and I find sometimes that my rooted hero (FroydVillain 1.7.3-R2) is stuck on 'H' but with no signal. After a while it will drop back to 'G' with a full signal, but sometimes I have to reboot the phone for this to happen.

I have not flashed the Radio yet, but is that likely to be the cause?

Try turning it off and taking the battery out for a few minutes. I had a problem with my phone only picking up 3G and never HSDPA; nothing would fix it until someone here suggested that.
