Help Magic and Macs

First post here in the Magic forums.

I just ordered the HTC Magic to use on AT&T. I'm using it for a backup phone for my iPhone 3GS and to learn the OS. It looks interesting.

I have a few questions.
Can I update the Magic to 2.1 with Sense UI, Can I update it with a Mac?
How do I update the phone, do I have to worry about it being relocked once I do the update?

The update will most likely be over-the-air so you will be ok. Good to see more Mac users! Sorry you have AT&T and iPhone though But seriously, Android is really nice

So, I thought there was some way to hack the phone to 2.1. If not, Can I install Sense UI on the phone or does that have to wait too?

Still love my iPhone...
