Root marketplace missing for eris droid

just bought a new phone off of ebay that has been rooted.. im not familiar with this at all.. but the marketplace app is missing and i dont know how to get apps.. could really use some help

Welcome to the forums

the reason you dont have a market is most likely because your phone has a custom ROM flashed on it (several of which require flashing the google apps seperately).... and when it was flashed they didnt install the google apps

personally my advice would be to flash a new ROM of your choice and start over...... making sure to read all the directions in the ROM thread

flash either of the google apps zips from recovery (the last two zips on the page). Android ROM Site


download zip file to sd card>reboot in recovery>flash gapps zip from sd card> reboot.
