Help Marshmallow Update Problems

I updated my software on Friday night. Since then, I cannot answer calls. The red and green buttons for answering/rejecting calls appear, but pressing them doesn't do anything. I have to let the call go to voicemail and then call them back (can make outgoing calls). I've researched this issue and can't find a solution. Can anyone help?

It's usually good practice to preform a factory reset after a large update to clear out anything left behind from previous OS. Some people prefer to just clear cache in recovery.

Are you pressing or swiping? On my phone it takes a swipe of the icon to accept or reject a call.

I actually had to do a factory reset after updating because my "Settings" and "Google Play" disappeared. I just tested and swiped - that was the problem! Thank you! (Feeling stupid)
