Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] app to fix lag?

has anybody tried this app called lagfix? Its only for rooted devices and its supposed to fix some TRIM error. Here's the link: Having Lag Issues On Your Device? 'LagFix' Aims To Make It Perform Like New Again

P.S. If your ROM mounts /data with -discard then this app is NOT needed!

taken from adb shell mount

/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/userdata /data ext4 rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,user_xattr,barrier=1,journal_async_commit,data=ordered,noauto_da_alloc,discard 0 0



now tahts to say /data is taken care of if you wanna try it on other partitions you may experience some results. not sure yet if this is a placebo like the seeder app was

im too hesitant to try it out...but the website where i found this said it worked.
Edit: Nevermind, they tested it on a nexus 7. :/
