So I updated from Marshmallow to Oreo and have had to iron out a few kinks since upgrading. One of the kinks that I've been unable to iron out is how my device handles missed calls. I don't use the stock dialer that comes with Marshmallow and now Oreo, I think it's just horrible and disorganized. I use a custom dialer app from the Play Store called TruePhone. I've used it for years without issue and greatly love it for the power and customization settings.
The problem that I seem to be having is that when I miss a call and appears in the notification shade, I'm given three choices. To either Call Back, Message or I can tap on it. If I select Call Back it takes me to TruePhone. I don't normally Message people from the notification shade. But if I tap on it rather than take me to the Recent Calls page of TruePhone it takes me to the Recent Calls page of the stock dialer. Then I have to get out of the stock dialer and get into TruePhone.
Does anyone have any idea how to just route the notification to your custom dialer???
