After trying, and being fairly disappointed with K-9 and MailDriod, I thought I might as well try the stock application. (most stock applications seem to work perfectly well IMO)

I've entered my hotmail details, but it's now asking me for detailed server information??

    Anyone?

It is for Exchange. No webmails (Gmail/Hotmail/etc) will work.

Few ISP emails will even work...has to be from an Exchange Server.

The x10 comes with 3 stock email apps:

Gmail - for those gmail people out there like me.
Moxier - for those with an exchange server (or like me, stupid enough to connect my work email to my personal phone cause we loooove to work!)
Email - Stock email app. This should allow hotmail to be used as well.

    Have you tried that one?
