What good apps are there for downloading free music?

Hi and welcome to Android Forums!

I don't think there are any good apps for downloading free music. There are, however, great apps for streaming music (such as Pandora or Spotify) and downloading PAID music (like Google Play). Downloading music that wasn't paid for, if I understand your question correctly, amounts to piracy... something we take very seriously here at AF and do not condone. I hope that answers your question

My local library let's me download 6 songs a week.
Not much, but it's legit, and free.

You will not find it in the Playstore and you will have to enable "Unknown Sources" (aka anything other than Google) in the settings to install it.
