No it won't brick it. I believe it only adds support for walmarts straight talk if you are referring to the b06 update. If you don't want to install it but want to get rid of the nag I believe there is a fix in the awe inspired ROM thread. I would personally recommend flashing to a different rom like the L awe 2.5 rom. I have herd that the update gets rid of root but I believe there is a way to get it back.

Yes. In fact it does look like a new update. The file size is different.

I am not getting the update notification on my phone. Could one of you that are getting the update upload the file so are devs can look at it. You don't have to install it. Just make sure it downloads to your phone. I don't recall the exact directory it downloads to but it will probably be named something similar to the old update named 4f81a68dd26922d0ae7b335277b9040013c63ee8.N800_B05_to_B06GOTA.zip.
It will probably say B06_to_B07GOTA. You will need root and a root file manager like es file explorer to find the file in the internal storage. TIA!

It looks like we need to have a look at the new updates files first in order to make another fix for the nag screen.I am still not getting it to show up on my phone so hopefully someone can upload the update file for us.

How do I just download? The option is restart and install.

It is already downloaded from the sounds of it. You just have to find it on your phone and upload it. Sounds easier than it really is though lol. Make sure you have root and a file manager with root enabled. Try searching for B06 or B07. The new version should be named B07 if ZTE has kept the same naming convention. The file should be around 18 MB as the screen shot above shows.

small patch this time around, B05 to B06 had a much bigger change to the modem.

If by some unfortunate miracle you're on B06, running custom recovery, and haven't removed any stock apps or installed a new kernel, here's an update that should work for you. Tested with TWRP 2.8

    TWRP_N800WAL_B06_to_B07GOTA.zip - 12.61 MB

Was there a base band change?

There's a 7kb change to the modem but settings still says B01. I suspect it's just a hard coded value.

Anyone just flat out installed it yet?

I installed it from the link that was posted. All I noticed was a different kernel version. I wiped everything except my sd card pretty fast and restored a backup because I can't stand stock lol.
