Root Nexus One camera flash (LED) not working after mod ROM

I received a new N1 after I swapped over by warranty but I don't remeber is the camera flash was working on this new one before I put Desire and Cyanogenmod and on both the camera flash doesn't work, installed FlashApp and a couple of other apps that manipulates the flash but it still doesn't turns on.

Any thoughts?

I too am having the same issue, will be flashing back to stock to see if the flash comes back
