Issue: When I upgraded my Android software from 2.1 to 2.2, I don't always get a sound or vibrate notification when I receive new text messages. I notice this happening when I still have the application open. However, when I exit the app after I send a message (while waiting to receive another message from the person with whom I'm conversing), I will get the expected sound/vibrate notification. I just don't get those notifications when I already have the conversation/app open. This didn't happen when I had 2.1.
What can I do to ensure that I get a notification for EVERY message that is sent to me whether or not the message app is open?
