Help Not fully charging

I've been charging my battery for about 4 hours now and it seems to be stuck at around 80-85%ish. I have no idea why, any suggestions?

Is your phone off or on? It shouldn't take 4 hours to get a full charge... Should take about 3hrs or little less I think

It was half half, it seems to be fully charged now.. we'll see. however the battery display when its off doesnt seem to work well, still shows 80%, at one point when i rebooted it it said 20%, the value in the phone differed. Weird.

I just picked up an Epic yesterday, my phone is doing the same thing, it won't get higher than a 90% charge level. I wonder if the battery is defective.

there is a lot of controversy over advanced task killer..
get it.. kill all apps
and then charge the phone..
could be an issue with ur phone
but u couldnt accidentally started somethhing thats killing ur batt..

for the life of me i can't remember if it's a stock setting or an app setting, but i remember seeing an option where it will disable sleep mode if the phone is charging. i remembered seeing that option and was like, "what?"
