Help not getting notifications

the only time i get notifications for the majority of my apps is if i connect to wifi. even after ive already opened the app and seen what was sent or whatever, i get a notification hours later once i connect to wifi.

i have no problems getting text and email notifications. but facebook, twitter, shapchat, and some others only notify me if im connected to wifi.


does anybody have ANY idea why this is happening all of a sudden?

A setting got changed. Sounds like your set to use data only on WiFi when its automatic. Just change the setting in mobile. You might want to check app settings next like in Facebook then etc

i just went through and looked at the data usage under settings and none of the apps have the box checked to restrict background data.

i was just connected to the mobile network and had my gf send me a message on FB. i never got a notification for it but i opened the app and read the message and the in app notification disappeared. i then exited the app and turned on wifi then it sent me a notification on my phone.

something got changed, but idk what and i cant figure it out, lol
