Help Not import contacts from SIM card

Hi all,
I want to import contact from SIM card to my phone i7500.
But this function isn't running. I go to application Contact, press Menu to Import contacts. In the screen, it has message : " Reading from SIM card .." and it doesn't has anything.
My ROM is Galaxo 1.6.3.4.

Check in another phone if there's any contact stored on your SIM card.
Btw, did you have any contacts stored on your SIM in Sam*censored stock ROM?
