Notification wont go away!

I got a text message notification from facebook that I had a picture comment. I pulled down the notification bar, clicked on the notification, and it took me to compose a text message. So instead i just went straight to facebook to read the comment.

Well now everytime I get a text message it shows me the notification from the picture comment in my notification bar. The only way that I have found to get rid of it is to turn off my notification bar, which I dont want to do.

Does anyone have any ideas??
I have already tried turning it off, taking the battery out, and taking the sim card out.

One guess is go to Settings -> Manage Apps -> Facebook
Maybe try clearing cache.

if doesn't work, uninstall updates, remove and reinstall fb.

I had the exact same problem. I ended up having to delete all threads in my inbox. Which sucked, but fixed it. Hope that helps.
