Also with a pre_ordered dinc.lost earpiece sound as well.suspect froyo is cause for issue..not hardware problem.any suggestions?

Time to call VZW for that replacement. (Or downgrade to 2.1)

Was the replacement they sent you a new one or refurbished, and did it have 2.2 already installed? Just wondering.

Refurb. 2.2 was not installed, had to do it via OTA (I'm assuming the phones they are shipping out now will have it already installed)

i've had the same issue. I've had my phone since launch day.

- upgraded 2.2 and no sound from speaker now.
- my phone was never rooted.
- did a hard reset and still have the issue.

suffering at the moment... sounds like i need to hit VZW for a replacement to resolve.

Same with me. I normally use the speaker phone 90% of the time, but at times I do need the internal speaker. I'm hoping it can be fixed with an update or something soon. I don't really want a refurb, I don't know why. I'm sure they are just like new, but why were they refurbished in the first place? I guess that's why I'm on the fence for now.
