"ok google" doesn't work after turning my car off unless I force stop the app...

This is getting extremely frustrating. I have a 2022 Kia Stinger. Ok google works fine when i get in the car and am connected to bluetooth and/or android auto. When I get out of the car and get on my mobile data or another wifi network, "ok google" has no response. Doesn't even trigger the assistant... I have to force close the app and then it works immediately... How do I fix this?

So your using Android Auto, correct?
There's your problem.
Android Auto is a huge memory hog, and has many issues to begin with.
Too many bugs.
I disable it altogether and use Waze for navigation.
OK Google works fine by itself, just don't add Android Auto into the mix....

1st time ive ever heard that lol. AA is for more than just navigation too.

If you get a chance, just do a Google search for Android Auto issues...
