Hey Guys. I finally got around to installing CM

I have 3 motions. so i know at least 1 will never be used as a "phone"
i flashed gametheorys undervolt kernel
then began gutting the cm rom to make basically a mini tab

I never flashed gapps.I removed most of the packages.
Stopped gps and location
Disabled all sensors but the screen sensors.
removed telephony
disabled several daemons and services no longer needed.

added some init.d and sysctl changes
just basics have more fine tuning to do

you cant use googleplay, apps must be obtained by other means.
cant use googlevoice for texting but groove ip works for wifi calls using a google voice number.
bluetooth works fine also

This phone is fast as lightning, and the temperature is extremely COOL, even when charging and in use
My battery life is awesome
example. I have the min cpu at 1674 which is the max, converting a movie to avi and its still charging from my laptop
And when charging with the phone on Charges MUST FASTER than stock since alot background processes ,services and daemons are not running

with this setup i think could run a bit more OC and easilly have two stages below the 384
down to 200 normal cpu setup
i think with min of around 125 mhz, i could tweak it to run with both cpu on and get same battery maybe better for some purposes.



So if anybody is interested in this i can do a factory reset and backup
upload that, you should be able to install it as a backup through your recovery

...Media scanner has been disabled. Logcat showed nedia scanner cant read storage/sd1 anyways. Uses tons of cpu everyboot.I didnt need it. My apps do there own scan anyways. Battery increase right there.
...Airplane mode disables radio but background services and daemons still run in background. taking cpu time and clogging resources. Cell radio isbasically permanently disabled along with services and daemons. More battery life and morecpu available.
...Google owned my phone. Everytime you touch something, a log is created somewhere.txt file,xml file or sql db.Everytime you go online its sending info somewhere, everytime you install or uninstall records are kept to be sent somewhere Just to plug in usb there are sql with everything on your computer, those have been removed from usb mtp.Google was eating my battery as well
...Telophony,messaging and contacts removed.More memory less cpu as less logging activity.
...I think its the BM5000 acelerrometer and all sensors. Was a huge battery consumption. I didnt need them, I dont need gps on this phone. Those sensors were stopped. Huge battery increase.and more cpu free.Mx player has a onscreen button for manual rotation so i can still watch movies in Lanscape.
....Ev en with gps and location stopped in settings the services were still loaded and running in background. these been disabled at internal level.The location framework was removed as well. More cpu free,more battery life more memory.
...download manager and gui removed. downloads fine without it, i get to downloads through explorer or my media aps find on there own.

... ,wifi .ini modified autopower control enabled.(no longer fixed rate. Power capped at 30{i think max}.
... wifi scanning set to 900. in normal prop and persist. I dont need it scanning while connected. Its a waste. Going to test at (o) but i dont think that stops the scanning.The only reason scanning while connected would ever be needed ,is say you are moving around with different hotspots to the same ssid.scanning will keep you connected to the stongest signal. I dont need this feature so scanning while connected is burning battery

as soon as the boot animation is over this phone is ready to Rock.With 20 apps installed it has over 500 free ram right after a boot.I leave it oced at 1674 And leave it there., But have the On demand govenor Set so it actually uses the lower steps now. but its ready to Hammer cpu needy apps whenever needed.
I havent fixed the Screenlock issue, but this setup is so light, i can turn it off and turn it on just as easy and almost as quick. and not burn battery with bootups.

yeah sorry, this is not a "Service" Project. The Cell radio has been disabled.
Gps as well.
Wifi and bluetooth only,

The idea is based on my phone will never have service.
Metro wont be using cdma soon.Motion may or may not run gsm.
many people have more than one motion
or have upgraded to another phone.
You can always wifi or bluetooth tether from another phone

This works great as minitab or Sidekick. Surfs and downloads wifi great. Music movies. Maybe converting your favorite porn movie down to a smaller size. Wifi calls. Games. and other apps.

Wirh so much disabled battery life is huge and .The cpu is doing nothing so its just waiting to put full attention to your commands, at lightning speed.

Last night i just modified the governor settings i just tripled the sampling rate. and altered settings to hold at each step to 99 percent before next step. dropped the scale down lag.
this alone will help battery life, while still getting over 17000 antutu score. and phone is still snappy.
with this change i expect to get bettery battery life than shown in the records made above.

And the phone charges must faster. I am amazed at my phone now.

Gimme about 1 week. I am redoing this from scratch. I learned alot about android,google. So i am able to do a more pinpoint surgery. Which will eliminate even more uneeded background services which will freeup more cpu,memory and create a lil more battery life

sorry for the delay guys.I am homeless . I got into a fight at Starbucks. so now i dont have many places to get electricity and wifi for my laptop.
i was working on a stock rom and accidently hit (reboot recovery) and lost the backup. So i started over.
almost ready. even better then before. i have been running one core only at 918 mhz. and geting 7990 antutu benchmark.a little less than half of a test with both cores wide open.I get great battery life. this time i have away to reenable sensors if needed for gaming.(sensors are huge battery user)

very sorry i slacked on this. i will get on it soon

it now will come with a complete
Tweak .d kit that i made and been using for a couple months

allows for about 20 premade profiles any can be run at boot
and also applied realtime when neede
a complete workspace for tearing apart tweak scripts and testing to find the values you need
all permussions are set at boot
plus an sbin applet that contains al perm with shortcuts everywhere to apply instantlt
included are 6 sysctl.conf
either of first 3 can be ran at boot
the last 3 ran realtime for testing or for different needs

i will make this tweak kit availaible separatly also
will work on any rom and probably any phone

believe it not i have got this down to where i am running
only one core at 590 mhz and have for a couple months
if i want to convert a movie to a diff format or need mire piwer
i execute a fast profile and in less then ten seconds phone is full bore

I have been trying to make a clean backup to upload but when i do a factory reset through the CM recovery every app shows an error notice over an over upon reboot
The backup and recovery works fine its just the reset option.
Not sure why. I cant remember but i may have installed and unustalled 2nd init recovery awhile back

Anobody know whats wrong or how to correct this?

Havent worked on the factory reset issue
But have a Stock version F Almost finished. Stripped and Gutted. A totally workable rom. Just need to finish init.d and maybe find a new alarm clock app.
then find a place to upload it. Should be available tomorrow.
I will make a new thread when its ready

Awesome!!! This sounds like exactly what i've been wanting since I dont have service right now. After I pay my bill next month, will I be able to restore my current backup without any issues? Installing google appps?
You probably could.May have issues Since i have removed so much.
I can go back to a backup i have that still have Google.(half of my project to remove google)
It wont be as light but much lighter than stock.
But you can get many apps from alot of other sources.
I pull apps from my other phones.
1mobile market is pretty good they have an app for it
Hiaphere and blackmart have many free apps as well
You can collect apps now and reinstall on this
Anyways i am cleaning it up now for the Backup
