Help Phone Not Responding with Computer

I got my G1 phone a few weeks ago. When i got it i loaded some music onto it from my computer. I pluged the phone into the usb conection, and it opened just fine.

Now, everytime I plug my phone into my home or work computer it will not work. The drive show's up in "my computer" as a removable disk drive, but when i try to open it i get an error stating "please insert a disk into drive E:"

What am I doing wrong? is there a issue with my phone?

Look at the top of the phones screen.
Pull down the shade.
Click mount.
Then it should work.

nice!! that did the trick. i dont know hwo i ever got it to work the first time without that info

Have you had an update since you got the phone as before the RC30/RC 8 update that is how it connected but now you have to the method as described above
