I have the Pixel 2 and I'm testing out the camera. This is the first Pixel I've had, so I'm very curious to see what the hype is about when it comes to the camera. I've included a few different situations like low-light and portrait mode.

Were you trying to use "portrait mode"? It looks like it's blurred part of the background behind the dog but left other parts unblurred. Something must have confused the algorithm.

I don't think there is, or at least not on the phone (I expect there's things you can do on a computer). I've read that it can be confused by non-human faces, but it's not obvious why it would do what it did there.

The good thing is that if the blurring doesn't work out right you've still got the unblurred image.

Have any of you tried out any of the different lenses companies make?
