problem joining contacts in Ray

i tried joining two contacts in the Ray. i did the whole procedure and in the end it said contacts joined. however actually they were not joined....

then i did the same through my pc and this time they joined...

is this another 'bug' ? how to join contacts in the Ray?

please advise!

That is odd and I can honestly say I have not come across this problem before. You may want to back up the contacts and then clear the data from the contacts application:

Main Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > Contacts > Clear data. (Just make sure you have a copy of them on your SIM or memory card before doing so.)

is it becoz all my contacts are in email account and none are stored on phone?

That shouldn't really impact this particular feature.
