problems loading sms pix ??

have this prob while getting a sms pic it just keeps loading then it says unsuccessful can anyone diagnose this problem?

I had a problem with my Hero not receiving or sending picture messages since I first got it. Ended up having to send it back, although I'm pretty sure there was an easier way its just the folk in the shop (my carrier is Meteor Ireland) don't know anything about the phone. Got it back yesterday and it works fine, seems they reset the phone and re-entered MMS settings. Lost all my apps though.
