Replacing shattered screen on tablet

My son was playing on his android tablet and the screen shattered can this be replaced

Yes. The only problem is the cost. Contact a GOOD (by reputation) cellphone repair shop, or if there is none where you are, the manufacturer, and get an estimate.

Don't faint if the estimate is close to the price of a new tablet. (Insist on a factory replacement - some shops will replace the screen with a cheap inferior screen and refuse to accept responsibility for the tablet not being very responsive.)

(And don't be too angry - most broken screens on tablets are on tablets owned by kids, usually by normal childhood carelessness.)
