Help Right Soft Buttons Stopped Working

The right two soft buttons on my non-rooted droid just stopped responding. The phone still gives that little soft button vibrate that occurs when I push them, but nothing else happens. It doesn't go back to the home screen and nothing comes up when I hit the search button. I have no idea why. I have restarted many times and nothing helps. Please let me know if there is a way to fix this without losing everything on my phone. Thanks.

I also realized that when the screen comes back on, I don't have to slide to unlock. It is always just unlocked.

and long pressing the camera button doesn't open the camera anymore either. But if I open the camera through the app drawer, then push the camera button it does take a picture.
