[ROM] CM9 Tenderloin nightlies

I'm still running the 4/22 build. Any big/noticeable improvements lately? I don't really have any issues aside from an occasional reboot.

The sound when the screen powers down is now fixed. That was a biggie for me as I love my music on my TP... :D

I have seen many people have this problem, however, I have never experienced an issue like this. I am glad it got fixed for you.

I don't listen to music on my TP and actually don't use it much any more, just update it once a week or so, so I've never experienced it either.

If it wants to reboot when sleeping, I read that bumping up the min voltage a notch or two should help.

The charger fix has been added to the next nightly. Gerrit Code Review

The audiolib files have also been merged with the next nightly. The mic test files are no longer needed.

Bear in mind the audiolib patch will make your TP tend to reboot when it's idle. I'd wait for a fix or at least, have a backup to return to when done playing.

From what I've read on Rootzwiki, the mic is quite usable after this. :D

You could reload your backup from before the issue started. :D

Otherwise, 6/20 was a good date for me.

Nightly builds are not well tested and there will always be good and bad days.

New audio libs (stability and sound changes) and wifi drivers will be merged soon, according to jcSullins.

Meanwhile you can get them here: Goo.im Downloads - Browsing testing

I like to download from goo manager (Browse all files... devs... jcsullins... cmtouchpad... testing)

While your there, grab the TPChargeTest under his apps folder.

Also, sounds like 0704 and 0629 are good builds. Between those days, not so good. :D

So how's that new nightly build with the merged changes, Mr. Guineapig? :D

I flashed TWRP as well as the latest nightly. Sheesh, I can't believe I've been tolerating CWM so long.

The touch sensitivity on the TouchPad with TWRP isn't perfect, but it's such a pleasant way to manage the recovery.

Frankly, I'm a little put out with Koush for not updating CWM for the Galaxy Nexus - and for the supposed "fix" being to purchase CWM Touch (I realize it's free if you want to manually load it). I already purchased the paid version of ROM manager, I bought both versions of the DX Bootstrapper, and I donated back when the DX was being hacked for the first time. I'm not spending another three bucks to fix a broken recovery.

So... Go TeamWin!

Nexus 7 is pre-ordered, if I like it I may be parting ways with the TouchPad anyway...

How are the recent nightlies?

I just got a TouchPad and I want to update its CM7 install to CM9. What's the best day to flash so that I get Wifi fixes and a stable environment?

I don't really want to flash it often, hopefully there is a recent version that will get me through until Jelly Bean.

I think mine's about 2 weeks old. Except for changing passwords, I haven't done much with it since getting my Nexus 7 and flashing JB roms on my Galaxy Nexus. Guess I only have time for two devices. :D

Couple things... First Goo servers will be down this weekend while they update the hardware.

The last CM9 build was 8/10... no more are planned.

The next batch of work needing to be done may take a while. =(
Everyone will need to be a little patient with us while we overhaul a few things. I don't want to speak for JCSullins but I don't plan on releasing preview builds until its more solid. Besides, the latest CM9 nightlies are about as solid as it will be for a good while.
