Is there a way to root the phone so I can delete all the bullish aps but keep stock rom? Are there any kernels for overclock?

Any recommendations for an ics clutter free rom that's smooth and fast?

Ok I have done what it says but I still cannot boot into cwm... I have tried about 10 and even got the app for cwm and it still won't boot into cwm.. I used Odin and all that jazz but it won't boot to cwm.. Which makes me think that cwm (or at least the correct version) wasn't installed...

So are you pulling your battery, wait a few seconds, put it back in, hold down the volume down button and power button until you feel the 1st vibration, then let go of the power button and just hold down the volume down button?

Yes yes yes did all that... Turns out right after Odin and the pass sign pops up I had to hold volume up and down and it would boot directly into cwm... The new software resets the recovery on reboot so I had to get into cwm directly after Odin

So you're in recovery now, no longer bricked?
