Root question (Searched, but no results)

I am trying to follow this simple guide at this website

But the only thing I can't understand, is how do I get it into the /system/app part of the phone? On my command prompt I don't know what to cd to, I have tried many different things and have also searched, without any results. Apparently I am stupid, but I know I can get it if I can just get the command prompt in the right directory to begin with (does this make sense?). Thanks in advance

And it is 2.1 rooted if that makes a difference

cd into android-sdk-windows/tools, just like you did when starting to root....and you might have to adb remount, not sure

Yeah I tried that and it didn't work :-(

I did it just this afternoon following the instructions in this post. It's pretty straightforward, there are just a few extra commands you have to enter to get you to the right directory.
