rooted samsung galaxy ace succesfully....need to the advantages and what all i can do with that

i have rooted my samsung galaxy ace succesfully but i dont know the advantages of it...so anyone pls explain the advantages and what all things i can do with the rooted device...
and i also wanna know to move the applications from phone memory to sd card as i dont have much memory left in my phone and i ahve tried with that application named app2sd...but no apps is there to move,,,
someone pls help me....
