Root Rooting steps clarified

I have not seen a real ROOT for the view so if you find one please let me know. Also I use my view connected 3g and 4g love it.
Yes, there is a real root.
First you need to run Revolutionary for S-Off.
Then you need to flash CWM for View.
Then you need to flash a .zip file to get root rights.
All on XDA and/or Revolutionary

Also I did a search on XDA did not find CWM for the view if you have a view and you have ROOT maybe you can share what the steps were that you took?
Revolutionary will flash the correct CWM to your View when you run it for the second time.
Note: don't get discouraged by the initial message "Failed! Go have some lemonade!" I got it yet when I ran it for the second time it said "you already have S-Off".

Disclaimer again.

ok so just plug my view into my pc and run rev program?
Follow the instructions.
Install the HTC drivers.

Make sure you have USB debugging checked.
Make sure you provided the correct serial and HBOOT to the Revolutionary.
Make sure you've got the beta key from Revolutionary.
Make sure you run it from the DOS window.
Run "adb devices" to make sure your device is connected.
Good luck!

where do I get the drivers?

All of the instructions and links to the necessary files are included in the link that Maine Coon posted. Just follow what is said in the first post exactly.

This is not my first ROOT and no link is listed for the HTC drivers. The rest I got no problem
