Root S-off

I tried using AlphaRev for the same reason, tired of using adb, but when I made the boot disc and booted into it, it didn't recognise the phone... It's a HTC Desire GSM Bravo PVT4, exactly what the site says it supports, but no dice.

It doesn't display any information at all. Weird? Amon-ra and everything worked a treat with no issues.
what rom are you using
make sure its a sense rom

if its not

back up current rom
wipe and flash a sense rom (tepics or leedroid will do as its purely for s-off)
make sure debug mode is turned on and you are booted into the device without being connected to pc
run the alpharev cd
connect device when it tells you
after its finished restore your nandroid backup
done

I have the stock HTC ROM, and it had USB debugging and it was on charge only. Would the stock ROM have an issue? I'll check out leedroid or tepics.
