Samsung is expected to include an iris recognition camera on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, but the company has just filed a patent for a three lens system which would scan a user's iris and their face at the same time. The system described in the patent will likely not be used in the Note 7, but it's nice to see that Samsung is already working on the tech that may show up on phones in 2017 or 2018.
