Samsung galaxy Ace dropping reception!

Hey guys i recently got a ace, and it has been playing up... So basically if im texting someone the phone craps out and says message not sent even thought there is full bars of coverage? It can be fixed by flicking flight mode on and off quickly but it gets really annoying and its doing my head in!

Im thinking it could be my older simcard?
Im from New Zealand BTW

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there tdogusackit, glad to have you on the forums!

i would suggest to do a hard reboot on the phone, take the battery out, etc, restart.

Then if nothing is changed it could be a simcard issue, before that though, you could create a backup and do a factory reset to see if anything changes.

However if the easiest route for you is to test the simcard do that, because i believe thats what it sounds like to me.
