Root Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900V: Bricked or Not Bricked?

So I was trying to root my S5 using this method.

I followed the instructions correctly until it prompts you to install a firmware. Since I thought a newer version than 5.0 Lollipop is available why not right? However, as soon as I installed the firmware the phone was stuck on "Samsung Galaxy S5" boot logo. So, I tried booting the phone in recovery but an error popped up saying, "Custom binary blocked by Reactivation Lock". At that moment I was worried that I bricked my phone, so I had to confirm it.

Is this error telling me that I bricked the phone? If so is my phone unusable now?
But if it's not bricked is there any way to fix it?

You should be able to flash the stock firmware then enter the information for your Samsung account to get past the Reactivation Lock.
