    Hey guys,

How do I disable the screen timeout when i'm in the dock for my car? The only setting is to configure the sounds, in which I cannot even click on that.. Ideas??

Theres a nice little app called toggle screen
All it does is disable the screen timeout.

Plug it in! When powered by 12v in your dock, it will not time out. :)

Actually, that isn't true. I'm sure that what he is referring to by "time out" is the screen saver.

Sweet. Thanks for the app tip!

Yeah, i've got an android car dock that is connected via auxillery so I can do hands free/music etc.. However, my company requires that I have a pin and a timeout policy.. But when I'm in the car I would like to override that, cause whenever i need to change a song i would have to draw my stupid unlock pattern with my left hand hoping that i don't get in a car wreck.....

Launching car home disables the sleep timer and you can also go to settings and check the option to never sleep while plugged in.

Under Settings : Applications: Development: you will find Stay Awake as an option. If you enable it the screen will never sleep while charging..
