SD Card settings help

I am shooting videos through camera and saving it in SD card. When I am trying to attach the SD card videos, it is showing only internal memory videos and not the SD card videos. Can anybody please let me know if we need to do something under SD card settings to make sure we pull up SD card videos. Please help

what apps are you using - stock or other?

are you viewing the video's though the gallery app or some other?
Messaging/email - same question. Might be part of your issue.

I use the stock gallery app and I use Google Inbox and the stock messaging app - I don't seem to have issues but I did have to point the gallery to the SD card once early on. I also had to tell the camera app to save to SD but I guess you already did that.
