Root SkyRaider 3.0 RC2 to be released anytime today!

Battery life is sucking balls for me with King#3 and 3.0 RC2. I'm going to flash King#2 now and stick with RC2. If that doesn't do better tomorrow then I'm going back to #3 and 2.5.2.

Sucks. I really like that espresso theme on 3.0 but my phone works so much better for me on 2.5.2.

Got to send out an email and figure out why my I'm not a premium Rom Manager user before I do anything else.

I've flashed back to 2.5.2 w/sense. Battery was incredible; best yet. It's just too crowded and needs work.

I can not be bothered to update and have to set everything up again (did it Saturday) and deal with the chance of boot-loops, etc. Titanium helps a lot, but still have to set everything else up again. I could care less about OCing a 1ghz chipset and already get great performance with apps and Flash. I see nothing in the rom to suggest it is any better than the current 2.52, just that it is newer.

I will wait for the official release to hit and be modded and then I will update. You folks that do this update stuff every other day must be some compulsive types

Solid rom, but I do not see the need to update, since 2.52 is fine for me. Besides, a more recent Froyo build was leaked today (8/16 build), so there will be other rom options- probably this weekend.

Downloaded 3.0 last night with KingKernal #3 . Haven't played with it much but battery seems about the same as FrankenROM and JagerROM with Hydra #4 . Haven't noticed any bugs, I'm not a fan of Sense but his version is slightly better btu I'll probably go back to ADW and if he releases Vanilla go with that.

Just installed 3.0
First, i cant change my wallpaper. I rearranged my apps/widgets back where they were before, i reboot and everything is all messed up. Im switching back for now. Dont know if its just me but this is what my screen looks like.

My phone loves 3.0 RC2, and so do I. The only issue I have with alignments is the final "r" in "Camcorder" doesn't show up, but who cares. It looks great, feels great, and all features work perfectly. The hulu bit could use a little refining, but that's no biggie. I've been using it a lot.

Using SetCPU, battery life has gone from good to awesome. I can now go two days on one charge with my 1500mAh. I have SetCPU set to go to 245mHz when the screen is off and use various stepping methods on the max CPU speed as the battery drops. No issues with performance.

This is all with the stock kernel that came with the ROM (whatever kernel that is).

FYI, for me it was a total disaster. Did everything I could, finally got back to RC2 which is awesome.

Yeah ran RC3 and had major issues all over the place with my phone, I'm using Cyanogenmod now and I want to keep it so bad , Camera works on and off and BT audio is messed up my only issues with this rom and it doesn't see internal memory which since I have a32gig card isn't a big deal

I'm very happy with RC3. Works awesome for me and the only real issues that I've come across are the 3G dropping out occasionally, only happened once, and m.youtube.com not being able to play any videos. Other than that, I'm perfectly content. Kings new BFS #2 kernel seems to work really well with it too.

anyone get hulu to run decent on this? mine gets choppy less than a minute into any vid, it's pretty much not worth watching.

I know the music player that it came with isn't seeing my music stored on my internal memory
Went into setting and it doesn't show up either

Anyone having issues with this ROM after using it a while? Sometimes my whole phone seems to bog until reboot. I uninstalled setCPU to see if it's causing any issues. Also, this morning the whole phone hard locked up on me while listening to Pandora and going to unlock it.

All lagginess and instability are now gone since I uninstalled setCPU. I still have the APK on my SD card, but I'm going to chill on it for now. I really like this version of skyraider otherwise.
