I don't understand the confusion. I said I only applied the wiper fix to Simon's flashable zip. I thought I said or it was implied that if Simon says in his thread to flash the wiper fix only with his ROM I did. I never meant to imply that I flashed the wiper after restoring Heloguys nandroid backup.

I believe I tried to download Heloguys nandroid backup individual files several times from one of the working dropbox links but the download was creeping so slow I moved to Simon's zip with wiper fix assuming it would work just as well hopefully.

I don't remember reading anywhere Simon's method was not the best to use anymore. So I finally got Heloguys .rar and tried the nandroid restore but I did not use wiper with his since he didn't say to.

Are you maybe saying the fact that I used the wiper with Simon's ROM first then tried Heloguys nandroid messed everything up? I did full wipes before trying the nandroid restore.

Lol, i deleted my post but it looks like you had already got it quoted. I removed it because there were enough people in here trying to understand what was going on and trying to help you out. From the looks of things, many were confused at just what exactly you were flashing.

Try being a little more specific when asking for help. Simon posted a ROM with the wiper fix. Heloguy's thread had a flashable CWM backup. Big difference.

Also, i mentioned earlier (IN TWO POST) that the majority of us were using the CWM backup that Heloguy posted because everything was working with it. If you would have looked, there are 3 links in that thread to those files. Heloguy's which until recently wasn't working, mine and i2f's. You said one was SLOW downloading. Did you try the other?

Edit:
Here are the 3 posts with the CWM backup I was talking about......

HELOGUY'S- http://androidforums.com/5992937-post1.html

???? I2F'S- http://androidforums.com/5994283-post27.html

???? MINE- http://androidforums.com/5994738-post36.html

It helps to be specific when asking questions. It also helps when you read through the threads before asking questions. You would have found the other link to the CWM backup. :D

Whatever is going on, i hope you get it figured out. Something for sure isn't right.
