Wow... So I'm new to this but I read the answers you provide when I'm googling info 😅 but I'm curious...

So I bought this tribute hd, the 'about phone' says it's an lgls676... But your app has pulled it up as an x style.. Can you clarify?

Not sure where it's getting that from. I'll notify the app developer @steve to take a look at this.

A lot of manufacturers bring out banded phones with clever names for each carrier, but essentially are the same device. In order to keep the channels from becoming too fragmented, they could be combining all those into one 'class', but it's best to ask as the app is new and its *gasp* not perfect. ;)

When rooting, modding, flashing etc. always, always ALWAAAAAAAAYS use the phone's model number. Sometimes a Verizon model and Sprint model will have the same name but different numbers because the hardware isn't exactly the same. Samsung is the worst offender of this kind of confusion, but LG is no saint, either.

How should i go about rooting this phone or at least unlocking more than just the developer options?
