Anyone else running Sportstap thinks it's slowing their phone down?

I've replaced it with the ESPN ScoreCenter. I haven't found a way to have audible alerts (without signing up for text alerts) but it has a widget you can place on a home screen and it seems to be faster to update.

I recently uninstalled it as it seemed to slow things down a bit, and I rarely used it. Even when I stopped it in Running Services, it would start running in the background again.

it constantly FC's...but seems to start back up, then FC again, and again....frustrating. I haven't liked anything else yet? How's ESPN? can you have it just keep up with your selected teams? I couldn't figure that out with Scoremobile, seems to be all MLB or NFL.

Yes, you can have it give you scores for only the teams you want to see scores from. It's the myTeams options...

It sounds like nothing has changed since I first got the Droid in November. I uninstalled the app long ago.

I was having issues as well so I started using LiveScores. Its a much better app in the end anyway.

I installed the ESPN ScoreCenter and its damn good. Has a gamecast type app inside as well, and the widget is nice. Sportstap sucked on my phone too.
