I have the zip for Tommy's Classic rom clock. Can I flash this and use it on the gnex?

If it's a flashable zip you wouldn't be able to because the framework is too different, it would have to be specifically for the Sprint Gnex/ROM you're running. If it's an apk file, you can just install like you would an app and it should work just fine.
