Help Syncing phone to tablet problem

I just got my Asus transformer and I went into the bluetooth settings for both and did a search for other devices. Both my phone (HTC Evo) and the tablet saw the other and both asked if I wanted to pair. I said yes on both and they now show as paired but not connected. I cannot figure out how to get them to connect. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :).

What are you trying to send back and forth? Unless you are tethering you won't have an active connection unless you are sending something.

I was going to try bluetooth tethering and see if I could send anything from my phone (like photos). I assumed that this bluetooth connection would work like they do for other devices where if you are in range and have them paired they automaitically think. I see this happen everyday with my GPS and phone. As soon as my GPS powers up I'm connected even thought I'm not trying to make or receive a phone call. Is this work differently?

To send a photo from your phone select it and use the share option in the menu. Select bluetooth and it will find paired devices.
Tethering would be if you want to share your internet connection.

Thanks for your help. I was able to send a number of photos from my phone to my TF :) . However, for some reason, I got a message that said that the file was allowed by TF  .

Just got this pad, (keyboard lags like a bitch) and i want to use bluetooth to transfer my pics to the pad from my ipod touch. I can get the ipod and the tf pad paired but " not connected " I dont know what to try next. Does anyone else have the answers? appreciate the help
