Help System Update

My phone told me that there was system update this morning, so I downloaded it and tried to apply it, it said that there would be system enhancements, but I got left with a picture of a phone with a explanation mark, I was able to re-boot the phone and it seems OK, has HTC released a system update for the HTC or is someone trying to put something dodgy into the phones?

My phone told me the same but I had to remove the battery to re-boot. Everytime I try a system update, the same thing happens. Is there a system update or not??

Regarding the location issue. The company that is dealing with this currently experiencing issues. They hope to have the accurate data available in the next few days.

Regarding your update, can you please try removing the file and re downloading via WIFI. You can remove the file by browsing to the SD Card and deleting the file called update.exe. This should fix the issue for you.

I tried what they suggested but could not find the file, I explained that I could not find the file to HTC support and got the response below, it does not inspire confidence in them, they don't know the name of the update file or even if it a zip file.

The file may be called something else and may be a .zip. If you cannot find the file then it means it was automatically removed, it may be worth performing a soft reset on the device. Which can be done by removing the battery from the device while it is still in use and leaving it out for ten minuets. If this does not also work i would advise waiting for a few days as we are aiming to push the update out again soon.

I Like the phone but technical support seems rubbish, what a firm who doesnot know the name of the update file or even if it's a zip file, also been having problems with the weathwer widget playing up the adcise of that was next to useless, I managed to sort it out myself!

yes i had a few issues with the weather app, but it sorted itself out, i like the phone as well and have been thinking about putting 2.3 on it but heard a few bad reports hope the update arrives soon

I found the file its called Frojo update ect, I deleted it, and downloaded it again but still get the same problems
