Tasker problem

I'd like tasker to turn on my screen whenever the music I'm playing changes track. Is this possible coz I can't figure it out!

Depending on what music player you're using, you may be able to monitor for a change to the %MTRACK variable (you can find details about that variable at Tasker: Variables).

With that in mind, something like this may work.
Context
Event > Variable Set: %MTRACK

Action
Display > Turn On
Note: depending on your device/OS you may need to use a third-party plugin like Secure Settings.

I've managed to get it running on with media utilities.
But I'll experiment with the variable. I did try but couldn't get it to work
