Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra will be hosting the global launch of the Xiaomi Mi 5 later today, starting at 9:00 CET / 3am EST. While the global launch will be available to watch, it's unlikely that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be available globally.
The most recent leak for the phone suggests that two version will be available, one with a 5.2" 2K screen with a Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM. Also rumored is a fingerprint scanner located on the back of the device.
